FEELING: relieved and rested

You guys, I had the option to go karaoke or bar hopping in Taipei and I picked a secret third option: take a long nap. I think my schedule finally caught up to me today because I was WIPED for the first half of the day. I went to class and felt anxious about nothing (one of my favorite pastimes) and by the time that faded class was already over. Then I got some awesome curry chicken and hung out with some friends for a little bit. We took pictures in this photo booth that was laundromat themed? It was also called “plan B studio” which made us giggle.

After that I went to a cat cafe and met a cool girl from Toronto named Aubrey, we talked about Taiwan and she told me that she didn’t know ANY Chinese even though she’s lived here for 6 months. I taught her a little bit which is funny because it was like a toddler teaching an infant how to talk. Then I pet the cats for a while and this big fat orange man (no, not the president) kept licking me like for 20 minutes. He was so so so so cute. Licking picture included.and

Then it started pouring rain! I went back to the house instead of bar hopping with other 20 something year olds I napped like a little baby. It was kinda awesome ngl. After that we got really good Tonkatsu at this mall and I bought a way-too-expensive outfit for tomorrow. I guess I stupidly thought everything in Taiwan is relatively cheap and forgot that I was in the real world so I spent *vomit* 𝓼𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓷𝓽𝔂 𝓭𝓸𝓵𝓵𝓪𝓻𝓼 on a shirt. Yes that is seven-zero. This is probably the most expensive shirt I own. I literally brought it to the counter and was already holding my phone to pay when I realized how much it was. I am a little bit brainless I fear. I better get compliments from the Japanese girls tomorrow on my field trip or it was all for naught…
