FEELING: arf arf arf i am just a seal i dont know how to say anything else

I’m taking my aunt to school today haha. Anyway, yesterday a bird pooped on me on my way to class which was bad and sucked. This is actually the second time this has happened to me in the last 3 months so maybe it’s my fault somehow. Class was fine, we had a speaking test and I had to go first which I did not want to do but it went better than I thought!!! After class I went to get a haircut and even though I felt like my Chinese had improved so much, I couldn’t understand the hairdresser AT ALL. I kept asking him to use different words so I could understand but then he just said the same thing but a little slower. I felt like a very well trained aquarium seal who could only communication by going “keyi a , a , a.” Like, they all thought I was cute for trying and could kind of understand what I was sort of going for, but I really only went through the motions of communication.

The haircut came out cute! I got to show my friends at my seal carving class. Now, because I had accepted my identity as a seal, I was a bit worried to be carving my brothers and sisters… but actually it was super fun. I made a cool stamp with my Chinese name carved into real stone.

Afterwards I went home and did my homework. Then we got xiao long bao with the kids and shopped around the mall for a bit. The store had stuff that LOOKED cute but made me look super rectangular when I tried the clothes on. My round seal face and body looked extra boxy when I wore the trendy off the shoulder shirts that are popular right now.
